Members of PSNA hail from both Cambridge and Somerville and include residents and business owners. Voting members must have paid their dues and must have attended at least two previous meetings within the last six months or four within the last year.

The Cambridge Masonic Hall will host an open house Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 1950 Mass. Ave.

The Cambridge Masonic Hall is comprised largely of Cambridge, Belmont, Watertown, Winchester, Medford and West Somerville residents who belong to an organization that has inspired greatness in countless men throughout the country’s history. Dedicated to the principle of “making good men better,” Freemasons will welcome the public into their lodges and answer the questions, “Who are the Masons?” and “What do they do?”

Cambridge residents (age 9 or older) can receive a free flu shot at any of the Cambridge Public Health Department’s annual flu clinics. While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, seniors are encouraged to bring their Medicare health insurance cards with them to the clinics. The health department is able to bill Medicare and Medicare HMOs, which helps offset program costs. Pneumonia vaccine will also be available for adults over 65 years of age at all flu clinics.

Special permits for Hotel Kaya

The Cambridge City Council approved the zoning amendment for this project on Sept. 8. The next step for the developer is to apply for special permits. Michael McKee will explain what permits they need.
