Once again the HONK! festival comes to Davis Square, featuring performances by some 22 activist bands in Davis Square on Saturday, and a parade on Sunday.
The bands, Bread & Puppet Theater, and many local arts and community organizations will march from Davis Square to Harvard Square’s Oktoberfest celebration. The parade leaves Davis Square at 12 noon, travels down Elm Street, then Beech Street onto Massachusetts Ave to Harvard Square.
