AIB Massachusetts Avenue Storefront Art Project
In connection with the construction project and with AIB's 2012/2013 Centennial, AIB is planning a storefront window art exhibit project in the Porter Square area. In a letter to local businesses, AIB Dean Stanley Trecker says:
"We will be calling on our current AIB students, alumni, faculty and staff to submit proposals for such month-long window exhibitions. The potential artistic media to be used are wide open and could include two-dimensional works such as paintings, prints, and photographs; sculptural art, site-specific installation works, videos, animations, and illustration and design works, among others. From all submissions, final proposals will be selected based on visual interest, clarity of concept, and craftsmanship. The artists will be given a modest stipend for materials and time."
Dean Trecker will join us to explain and further discuss this project.
Lesley / AIB Construction Update
Bill Doncaster will update us on the AIB project, talk about construction mitigation, and take questions.
"Shop and Eat on Mass Ave" map project
John Howard will present an update, review a draft, and seek PSNA agreement to commit funds.
